Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking.



 

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • My classes often quickly reach capacity and booking will be on a first-come basis. 


  • Classes require a certain number of enrolments to proceed. Courses that do not meet minimum enrolment levels may be cancelled. Participants will be notified by email of a cancellation 24 hours prior to the course start date. In the case of cancellation, a transfer, credit or full refund will be offered.

  • In the event that the teacher may be ill Art Classes 2U will attempt to find a substitute tutor. If this is not possible, the class will be postponed and the class will be rescheduled. Alternatively, the missed hours may be added to the remaining course classes.


  • Payments can be made securely via Paypal with your credit card (Mastercard or Visa). 




 

REFUNDS - for term length courses and workshops

  • A full refund will be issued if a class is cancelled by Art Classes 2U

  • If you cancel a class 7 - 14 days before the class starts a 50% refund will be issued.


  • If you cancel a class less than 7 days before the class starts no refund will be issued.

  • If Art Classes 2U is able to fill your place we will offer a full refund or credit but there will be a $50 administration fee.

  • Bookings are transferable and can be passed on to a friend.


  • There will be no refund or credit once a course starts.

REFUNDS - for private lessons

  • If a private lesson is cancelled by Art Classes 2U, you may received a full refund or have the lesson rescheduled.

  • If you cancel a class 7 days before the class starts a 50% refund will be issued.


  • If you cancel a class less than 24 hours before the class starts no refund will be issued.

GIFT CARDS

Terms & conditions of gift card use are outlined at purchase. To redeem you must contact the art class facilitator directly via email shay@artclasses2u.com.au or phone 0417383910.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

  • If you miss a class I'll do my best to catch you up where possible. If you miss a class it can not be refunded or transferred to another term.

COVID-19

I am required to be fully vaccinated (including booster).

It is a requirement of the venues that I teach out of that you are fully vaccinated.  Your vaccination status will be checked and recorded at the first class.

ONLINE CLASSES

  • You will be provided with a Zoom link for the classes after payment is made. This link is for you only and should not be shared with others. Class attendance is monitored and only those that have paid will be permitted access to the meeting room.

  • Art Classes 2U is not responsible for the quality of your internet connection or your ability to access Zoom. Please contact me if you have questions about this before booking.

  • Zoom etiquette: Your video camera must remain on for the duration of the class. (Unless there are obvious bandwidth issues where I will direct you to turn off your camera). Otherwise, blank screens will be removed from the meeting.

  • Inappropriate/offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be removed immediately from the class.

  • Please be considerate to your classmates and arrive at the meeting on time.


CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

Art Classes 2U will make reasonable efforts to keep any such information that we have about you secure and to ensure that any of our employees or agents who have access to information about you do not make any unauthorised use, modification, reproduction or disclosure of that information.
We will only disclose information that we have about you:
   1.    to the extent specifically required by law; or
   2.    for the purposes of this agreement (including disclosing information in connection with any query or claim)
   3.    information provided by you is considered confidential and will not be divulged to any third party, nor will it be sold.
Upon enrolment Art Classes 2U may use the content from your emails or class recordings in our marketing materials and on our website testimonials page, as well as promotional emails and social media related to the business of Art Classes 2U
